Mia McGrath '22 Recruiting Profile

I have loved volleyball since I was very young.  My mom coached volleyball and would come home late at night to find me (age 8) hitting the volleyball against the garage door (in the dark).  I loved it then and couldn't wait to play myself.  When on the court I am the happiest.  I'm working hard to be my best; working on my vertical, my strength, my agility and my grades.  I want to play at a high level!  

I have been very fortunate to be on some very talented and fun teams so far in my volleyball career!   My favorite recent experiences have been taking 2nd place at Nationals this past summer, playing in the USA High Performance Championships this summer and earning all-tournament and most recently playing a big role for my high school team as we go after another successful season!   I have grown so much this past year as a player and person,  I know I want to play at the next level and will continue to work hard to get there!
