My friends and family consider me a highly motivated person that is likely to achieve my goals. I am interested in pursuing a career in the STEM fields. I also like the arts and will pursue a minor or second major in Graphic design. I have managed to maintain a 4.0-grade point average while playing two high school sports and travel club sports, being a member of the highest school choir (we took 7th in State) with many weekend events and travels, and a member of the Honors Academy with significant extracurricular activity and volunteer time.
Although I play both Volleyball and Tennis in high school, I am pursuing Volleyball as the one sport I want to play in College. Rather than detract from my studies, I believe that the schedule structure and time management associated with high-level volleyball will help me maintain excellent grades in college and contribute to my success in a career position with a great company after graduation.
I am diligent in preparation and enjoy competing at a high-level. I am a skilled, agile and tactical outside hitter that can cover opposite and defensive specialist positions when needed. I can also help build a confident, enthusiastic, team-oriented environment and bring out the best in myself while motivating others to give their best when it counts most. You can count on me contributing significantly to an exciting and winning volleyball season.
