Izabella Navarro '20 Recruiting Profile

Over the years I’ve become more and more involved with the sport I love the most. I’ve been playing volleyball for 6 years and 3 of those years I was involved in club. On every team I’ve played on I’m always known as the loudest on the court, the one who keeps the team up no matter the situation. 

  Like any other student I’ve had my ups and downs academically. But since the beginning of my freshman year, I’ve been at my best. I always try to find the best aspects of any situations and use that as motivation for myself to keep going. Going into college I want to be able to attend a school that i get to play the sport I love the most but as well as the field I am interested in, which is physical therapy. 

  Through volleyball I have learned the matters of communicating and that it’s key on and off the court. I have learned that whatever you put your  mind to you can accomplish which I also apply to my acadmeics.  By having a positive outlook on your future helps a lot with everything as well and that is why I think I’d be a good fit on your team.
