Personal Statement

I'm an outdoors, hunting, fishing, loving every day type of girl. I am interested in pursuing a degree that will let me pursue a career in Conservation & Natural Resources. I love competitive volleyball and the volleyball "lifestyle." I am very coachable and easy to get along with. I enjoy playing my part and doing my job for both the coach and the team. I enjoy being part of a team and with "my girls" both on and off the court. I've been playing the Middle Hitter/Blocker position my whole career and love the role, responsibility, and complexity of it. I would like to find a program to continue progressing and pushing in both practices and matches. I'm excited by the prospect of arriving on campus and being part of a group of really put together women.

Yes. I am taking a Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry class. This is a college level course, and I will be receiving class credits from Ivy Tech.

Are you in AP/IB classes?

Yes. I am taking English 11 AP and Spanish 3 AP. Both of these classes are college level classes. I will be receiving college credits from Ivy Tech for these courses. I am also taking a Criminal Justice Class at Ancilla College which is transferable for College Credit as well.

ActivitiesMy extracurricular activities include volunteering at the Marshall County Humane Society, being a Key Club member, and being an FFA officer. Over the summer, I spent over 100 hours working to better the lives of shelter animals and to help them get adopted.
