Hello my name is Maddie Lawler and I am currently a junior at North Putnam High School. This year I am playing on the Academy Grand Park 18-1’s. In the past I have played on the 16-1’s at AGP and another club by the name of Performance Point in Lafayette, Indiana. I moved clubs simply for the fact that I wanted a more competitive team to play on and I wanted to travel more to be seen by more college coaches!
When I am not playing volleyball I participate in many things in and out of school. These include basketball, 4-H, Key Club, Champions Together, and Peer Tutoring! I love everything I am involved in and it makes me the person I am, I think everyone should give back and this is my favorite way to do so! I also enjoy having leadership roles in these but I can’t have too many with how much time volleyball takes up it wouldn’t be fair to others.
I believe myself to be a hard-working and determined person. You can see on my page my TAP Results show me to be an “Eagle” and I am the responsible athlete type. I think this is very true and I try to be the best athlete and person I can be.
After high school I want to attend a college of some sort I am not 100% sure yet on what size or where. I know I want to study business and finances with the hopes of being a financial advisor and hopefully a CFO one day! I would like to play volleyball because I think it makes me work harder in everything else. It’s always a place or me to let loose and just be me which is so nice. I hope if you’re a college coach or scout reading this you send me an email, I would love to talk about my future with you!
