Hello, my name is Shannon Doyle. I am currently a Senior in high school and plan to graduate in 2013. I am very outgoing and a hard worker. This is reflected in my grades and my athletic accomplishments. I am a member of the National Honor Society and have played volleyball since I was ten years old. I am 5'11 and 135 pounds, taller than both my mother and father. My father was a college athlete and high school football coach. I understand the commitment and work that goes into being a good student and athlete. I have played club volleyball on the 1's team for five years. On my high school team I have been a starter on the varsity team since my freshman year. My personal accomplishments include, All-conference for 4 years, All area for 3 years, and voted MVP by my teammates all 4 years. However, my most exciting accomplishments are winning sectionals for the past four years and winning our schools 1st Regional Championship in our school's history. On my club team, I have received the role as captain every year and enjoy being a leader. I have high energy and communicate that on the court. I love to pump up my team and enjoy having fun and winning. I would love for all of my hard work to pay off with a chance to play in college. I have not decided where I would like to go to school yet, but I would love to play somewhere close enough for my parents to come see me play. My parents have spent a lot of time and money and I would love for them to see what they have helped me accomplish. I am open to any size school whether it be big or small. I am not exactly sure what I want to major in yet, but some of the things that interest me are professions in pharmacy, pediatric nurse and elementary education. Helping others and working with kids is a passion that I definetly want to pursure. This is reflected in my job as a lifeguard during the summer. My goal in college is to get a good education, play volleyball and to contribute to my teams success.
