2025 SpotlightVolleyball sparked my passion for sports. The team culture, community, and competitiveness is what drove me to pursue my passion for volleyball. Over six years of club volleyball experience, I have moved through different teams, creating a culture boost in the teams I join. I consistently show up for all the extra repetitions I can get and give 100% of what I have in my tank; whether my tank is 40% full, or 100% full. I am coachable and drive myself to get one percent better everyday on the court, with weights, or in the classroom. I'm extremely determined and truly believe that work effort, determination, and perseverance will get me the farthest in life as I constantly push myself to become the best student-athlete possible.
Throughout my high school career, I have grown academically and put in the work to achieve my 93% average in the first term of my grade 12 year at one of the top university preparation schools in British Columbia, Southridge School. I am a well rounded student with a passion for giving back to my community and a variety of extracurricular experiences as listed in my personal profile.
This year, I am playing with the Ducks U18-1 (BC) team, coached by Eoghan Bracken-Murphy, and am excited to be playing with an extremely competitive group of athletes. I also completed my final high school season as a co-captain of the team, contributing to a solid team culture and helping lead the team to a provincial qualifying spot for the first time in 14 years. I'm athlete who loves to compete and strives to be one of the most hard working Liberos/Defensive Specialists you meet. I bring energy and positive support to the court and am constantly trying to find ways to boost team culture through weekly goals, support systems, and tons of on the court energy and positivity.
