Josi Lonneman '20 Recruiting Profile

I strive to be the best athlete and student I can be. I don't just do what is necessary or go through the motions because I know if I do that then I won't get to where I want to be or where I could be. Which I hope to play D3 or maybe even D2 volleyball. I am not tall and I have accepted that and realized that if I wanted to go to a higher level that I would have to go as a defensive specialist. I have grown a love for the back row and every time I'm in the back I constantly think about where I need to be, where the ball is going, and what I could've done differently. I put 120% effort in what I do whether it's volleyball or academics. I aim to be the best in the classroom just as out on the court. I plan on going into nursing to become a registered nurse. As an athlete and a person in general I am a very competitive person. I have standards and values for myself that I like to achieve.
