My name is Ava Reynolds and I am a sophomore at Ankeny High School in Iowa. My goal in volleyball is to play at a high collegiate level. Some of the strengths that make me a strong player on the court are my verbal and nonverbal leadership, my ability to never give up, and my ability to stay positive and help my teammates stay positive as well. I think one thing that separates me from other players is the fact that I use my mistakes to motivate me to do better because I believe that having a positive mindset and team is one of the most important values in volleyball. I also put in lots of time in the off season in the gym and in the weight room because I am committed to being the best volleyball player I can be and to reaching my goal of playing at a high level in college.
