Julia Huiskamp '17 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I started playing volleyball in third grade I knew that I wanted to play at the college level. I am very dedicated to volleyball and love every second of playing it. I am great leader on the court and I love to win. Volleyball has been a big part of my life and I have accomplished many great things while playing it. I was chosen to be on the 2015 Iowa HP team over summer. It was such a great experince to play teams of that caliber.  Also, I have played club volleyball at Platform Elite for four years now, every year that I have been on Platform I have been the starting outside hitter on their national team. I am attending Assumption High School and have been on the varsity team for three years. I have learned to balence my school work and volleyball and my goal is to continue that through college. I have great energy on and off the court. Over the years of playing volleyball many coaches have told me how I'm a very coachable player. I would love to have the opportunity to continue being that coachable player in college.
