Personal Statement

My collegiate goals include getting a great education for my future job. I also plan on playing volleyball because it's a game I love to play, and my team is like family . My freshman year I played right side, went to state and made honorable mention in the Hawkeye Ten conference . As a sophomore I moved to middle, made it to Regional Finals and made all conference 2nd team. My main position is outside, which I've played 4 years at club, and where I'm playing my junior year. I'm a six rotation player and I'm happy to play anywhere I can benefit my team. I take my studies very seriously and I don't procrastinate on getting my work done. I show the same values in volleyball. I've learned that teamwork, motivation, and a positive attitude go a long way toward having success on and off the court.

Made the Iowa USA HP team and represented Iowa at the 2015 championships in Des Moines, IA. Played outside and back row. 4 years with Attack volleyball club in Council Bluffs, IA . At Red Oak I played 7th and 8th grade outside. As a freshman I started varsity right side , defense and one rotation outside. 2014 went to a Nebraska team camp.
