My name is Avery Kroll, I am a Sophomore (2020) OH from Waterloo, Iowa and I am working hard toward my goal to play college volleyball and possibly professional volleyball. In addition to club and high school volleyball, I also play tennis and beach volleyball and am involved in extreme workout programs.
My High School volleyball team is the Columbus Catholic High School Sailors in Waterloo, IA, and we made it to the state championship game two years in a row. We finished runner-ups in 2016, and in 2017 we won the 3A title! I was named Second-team all-Conference and All-Metro, and I set the school record for kills as a Sophomore with 319. Winning state was an unbelievable feeling and I am confident that I will lead my team and help us return to the state championships in 2018. Here is a link to my regular season highlights:)
I play club volleyball for CIA (Club Iowa Juniors) in Cedar Falls, IA. During the 2017-2018 club season, I am playing on CIA 16 Black (top national team). I helped my team reach USA Nationals in 2017, and I hope to return to Nationals with my team in 2018. During the off-season, I also play beach volleyball for CIA where I qualified for USAV Nationals the past two seasons. During the summer of 2017, I was chosen to play on Iowa Select Red, and we placed 6th at the HP Championships in Florida.
