Personal Statement
The goal of any college athlete should be to get a good education. If you get a good education, you will succeed in life. Sports have always been important in my life and kept me focused. Although I have done many sports including basketball, track and softball; volleyball has always been my favorite. It is hard to describe the feeling I get when I play volleyball. I love the intensity of the game. What sets me apart from most athletes is I am very focused, determined and willing to do whatever it takes to succeed in the classroom and on the court. One of my biggest strengths I have always been told is how "coachable" I am. I listen and take instruction well. As a college athlete, I understand the importance of balance between school and athletics. I am a very organized person with clear goals for my future. I have qualified for State in track all 3 years, and have placed 2 out of the 3 years in high jump. I am goal driven and give it my all at everything I do.
