Sophie Baker '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am Sophie Baker. I have been playing volleyball since I was in 3rd grade, and started playing club volleyball when I was 10. I have always loved the game and my love for the game grows stronger the more I play it. I have a lot of passion and drive for this sport, and I am willing to put a lot of my time and effort into playing volleyball at the next level. I know that I may not be the tallest person on the court, but I am a leader and the best hustler out there. I am a very coachable and versatile player.  I primarily set, but I would love to be a DS and I have experience there as well.  Academics are also very important to me. I currently have a 4.0 GPA and I am striving to maintain that throughout high school and into college.  I am very dedicated to my classes in school and I always plan ahead to get things done.  I take AP classes and plan to take college classes while still in high school.  I also play softball for my high school and am involved in several extracurricular clubs including BHS Stands Up To Cancer, Mardi Gras, and SPEAK which I really enjoy.
