Personal Statement
My goal is to play Division 1 volleyball. I played varsity volleyball my freshman and sophomore year. As a 3 sport varsity athlete, I believe that in order to succeed, you must put in the work/extra effort first. I succeed because I take what I'm taught and practice it until it's mastered. I take the tips/advice that my coaches give me and apply it to my skills. I am not only very coachable and hardworking, but also an encouraging teammate. For an athlete and their team to be successful, they need to hold each other accountable to be their best. I will do whatever it takes in order for me to accomplish my goals. I am confident in myself and not intimidated by any hitter or team. I am a vocal leader on the court and encourage others around me. My positive energy is contagious. Not only is volleyball important to me, but my academics is as well. I will work hard on and off the court to be successful in my education.
