Personal Statement

My name is Katie Floyd and I’m a 2022 Libero. I'm a 4.0  student and tied for first in my class.  I play for Taylor Co High School which is located in Campbellsville KY and Lexington United which is about an hour and a half from my hometown. My goal is to play collegiate volleyball.  My strengths are toughness, quickness, ball control, and the natural gift of court awareness. I consider myself to be very humble and a great teammate. I was also the captain of my high school and club team.

I'm currently training with Joudiel Poveymirow and John Montalvo. Both play for Campbellsville University Men's team. Joudiel is a All American NAIA and was the 2019 Men's National Libero of the Year. John was the Libero of the year in 2018 in the Mid South Conference.
