Anna Law '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches! My name is Anna Law, from Ohio County, KY, and I'm very interested in learning more about your volleyball program. I'm a dynamic player with strong leadership abilities both on and off the court. I'm a 6' Middle Blocker and have experience on the pins hitting. I also have experience as a defensive specialist and played this position part of my freshmen year and continue to play both front row and back row in high school and some in club. My approach touch is 10’-1.5” and my block touch is 9'9". I take pride in my vertical and continue to work on it. I'm a student at Ohio County High school class of 2020 where I play varsity. However, I take all my classes off campus at Owensboro Community and Technical College and so I will graduate high school with an associate degree. I also play club for Southern Kentucky Elite Volleyball Academy (SKEVA) 17-1's out of Bowling Green, KY.

To me, volleyball is more than a game I'm good at. It's my way to express my passion for the sport and use my God given talents and athleticism. Playing college volleyball would be a dream come true. I feel I could play college volleyball because I have a unique work ethic and I'm a very determined player. I am extremely coachable, hardworking and tend to get along with everyone. When I'm on the court I show great leadership skills and stay upbeat and positive, despite the score. I love this sport and by using my leadership skills and giving 110% every time I step on the court, I feel that I'm contributing to the game in the most positive way possible.
