Personal Statement
I am Trinity Edison, Class of 2023, an Honors student athlete with a GPA of 3.8. I extended my learning of pre-medical science in high school and will continue to work towards my nursing degree in college. As the Captain of my High School (Louisville Central) volleyball team for 3 years, I’ve dedicated my all to this sport as a Left-handed all-around player. At the college level, my position will be RH hitter, where I will continue to showcase my unique style of putting the ball in play and scoring points for the team. I wholeheartedly believe that being a team player is an intricate part of being an excellent volleyball player. On the court, not only am I the leader of the team, I am also a mentor in the game. By callin out plays made by the opposing team, I am also able to get our defense prepared for the next play. I encourage our team to be confident, have fun, and to remain focused during close games, and celebrate every point and victory along the way. I've been working on my athletic skills for 7 years, traveling to multiple states to showcase my talent competitively for Union Volleyball Club. I‘m excited and willing to continue my journey in a college level atmosphere to learn and showcase more of my talent In volleyball, and furthering my education In the medical field.
