Personal Statement
I have completed my Freshman Season at Garden City Community College. I would like to open my recruitment for both 2019 and/or 2020 as I am looking for a University to continue playing and earning my degree. My Coach at Garden City has accepted a position at a different university so there is some uncertainty with my current situation.
My name is Katie McHugh, I am from Lafayette, Louisiana and I graduated from Comeaux High School. I had played club volleyball for 8 years. For school volleyball I got pulled up my freshman year to varsity and was a starter ever since my sophomore year as a setter and a middle/right side hitter. I received 1st team all district my junior and senior year and was the captain of the team my senior year. I would love to continue playing the game of volleyball while pursuing a major in education. While taking the next step in life I want to grow as a player and also establish life long bond with my teammates.
