Personal Statement
My name is Tierra Parker I attend North County High School in Glen Burnie Maryland, and here a little insight about me! I play varsity volleyball for my school and serve as court captian. Outside of volleyball, I am very involved with a lot of activities in and out of school. I’m in the marching and concert band at my school, I’m in all honors and AP classes. I’m also graduating high school 1 year early. Outside of school I play club volleyball, I attend church and help with many church activities. Those events include outreaches to those who are less fortunate, back to school nights, Sunday school, church choir, and I play the drums for my church. I love working with and for other people. I believe being selfless and kind to others is a major key in life. Going off of my philosophy in life, my dream job follows just that motto. In the future my goal is to become a lawyer and help as many people as I can. I believe playing volleyball will help a great deal with my future goals. Volleyball makes you realize the need to communicate with others in hectic times and also shows you the importance of working together. Volleyball is a very important aspect in my life and I love playing it. Once again my name is Tierra Parker and I hope to be playing volleyball at a college near you!
