Sheridan Chaney '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sheridan Chaney and I am a 5”5” 115 lb. 2022 libero/D.S. I was gifted my first volleyball at the age of 8 which kick started my love for the sport. From there I knew that volleyball was something that I was very passionate about, so I made it a goal of mine to handle a ball for at least an hour and a half a day. For the past 8 years this mentality has only grown stronger and my drive for success in the sport has only gotten more competitive. This alone sets me apart from other recruits because with me on your team  I will go above and beyond to make sure I’m not only meeting goals, but exceeding them. When it comes to my personality on the court I pride myself with a positive attitude towards everyone, and I will take your constructive criticism and I will work to turn it into one of my strengths.  Another aspect of my life that differs from other candidates is that I was born and raised on a farm. That means that I know responsibility and hard work all too well. With me on your team I can assure you that I will be a respectable individual who reaches her goals only to set new ones and continually improve.
