Myeva Hurte '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, My name is Myeva Hurte. I am a rising senior at Kenwood High School. I am primarily an opposite, but I have developed versatility. I am in year 7 of playing and I am very passionate about the sport. Everyday I am always working hard towards the goal of not only becoming a better volleyball player but a better teammate and person. Last school year I received Varsity MVP and 1st team All-Division. I believe that the skill to be an amazing student in the classroom is just as important as the skill to be a great volleyball player. I am always playing with the mindset to win. My parents and coaches have always pushed me to be my best, and that’s my goal in life, to be the best person I can be. I have often been complimented about my sportsmanship, but I will admit I do tend to get a little upset if things aren’t going as well as I want them to go, but that’s something that I continue to work on each and every day, while keeping my competitive fire. I would like to major in Business and Event Management. My dream school is a school that will allow me to pursue my love for volleyball but also prepare me for the future of event planning.
