Coming from a family of eleven has greatly influenced me into the person that I am today. It has made me competitive, a team-player, and hard-working. I became interested in the sport when I attended a volleyball camp at Holy Cross. I was inspired by their skill and level of competition. At that moment, I knew I wanted to play at the collegiate level. My interest in this sport stemmed from how competitive it was and the drive I had to improve on my skills. One unique thing I love about volleyball is that everyone has their own job on the court and how well you do your job affects the whole team. I feel I understand the importance of training and punctuality which every great program emphasizes. Through volleyball, I have understood teamwork and perseverance to achieve goals by having confidence in your talent. In this sport you cannot let anything intimidate you, you have to stay focused and show your skill. My academic goals all throughout highschool were to challenge myself through Honors and Advanced Placement level classes. In college, my goals are to major in biology or pre-law. I know the importance of time management in college athletics and I can guarantee that I will put in the work athletically, as well as academically. I believe I have the skill, attitude, and the work-ethic to compete at the collegiate level and make an immediate impact in a volleyball program.
