Elle Jansen '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5’6” setter from Dexter, Michigan and will graduate in 2015. I have started on the Dexter High School varsity team for 3 years and was a team captain as a junior. In my last 3 varsity seasons I’ve earned two conference championships, a 2012 All-Conference Honorable Mention, a 2013 and 2014 All-Conference award, and the MVP award. My past three club seasons have been national level teams. I was team captain on my 2013 Huron Valley Volleyball Club team and I played for an 18u National team as a junior. 

I am looking for a school where I can be challenged both academically and athletically. Learning and preparing myself for a career is very important to me, so I can see myself at a school with a strong Liberal Arts program or Health Sciences program. I’ve always wanted to play volleyball in college, so I am open to any level that is offered. I have no preference for a specific location, but ideally I would like a campus that is part of a medium to large sized city.
