Personal Statement
When I made JV volleyball for my high school as a freshman, I new that only four more years of playing volleyball would not be enough for me. I grew as a player, student-athlete, teammate, and person during that season and wanted to push myself to have an even greater impact. An impact not just in my team environment, but amoungst my friends, family, opponents, and community.
I realized that when the highlight of my day was the time that I had spent on the court, that I couldn’t give it up. Volleyball saved me. It kept my mind focused and pushed me as a person. It gave me a passion. Volleyball was and still is a love that I never want to give up.
