Jordyn Conrad '20 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a 2020 senior co-captain and starting varsity setter for Frankenmuth High School, located in Frankenmuth, Michigan.  I am blessed to have received the following honors for my performance as a junior last season: 2018 AVCA Phenom List; 2018 MIVCA Division 2 All State Honorable Mention; 2018 MIVCA All Region 8 Team; unanimous 1st Team All Tri Valley Conference East selection,  and was Frankenmuth High School varsity team MVP.  As a sophomore, I was a 2017 MIVCA All-Region 8 volleyball team selection and a 2nd Team Tri-Valley East Conference player. 

Born and raised in North Texas, I have played volleyball since the 3rd grade under the guidance of my mother and coach, Shelly Ginter Conrad, who was a NCAA Division I volleyball player (setter) at Baylor University. I am a motivated, teachable, determined leader with a great work ethic. I love the challenge of being a setter because it gives me the opportunity to make split second decisions and to be creative and deceptive on the court. As a setter, what makes me valuable to my team is my ability to attack at the net and put up a strong block.
