Personal Statement
My volleyball career so far has been filled with many highs and lows. One of the best times in my volleyball career was this past school volleyball season. With the amazing team I had, we were able to make it to state quarter finals which has been accomplished only three times in school history. It was an amazing journey that taught me that hard work does pay off and that if you have a goal the only thing that is stopping you is yourself. I learned that pushing myself and my team, as well as holding each other accountable, is important to the success of the team. Along with many highs comes lows. Going through the low points both on and off the court is hard, but these lows have taught me about myself and how to persevere through difficult times.
I am searching for a college that will help me balance my athletic goals as well as my academic goals. Positivity, work-ethic, court awareness, and leadership are all qualities I know I could bring to your team!
