Personal Statement
During my entire volleyball career, I have always worked extremely hard to become a skilled player and a harmonious teammate. I believe in working hard even when no one is looking, and I can back that up by saying I took it upon myself to take the measures of creating my own workout schedule including making my own jumping box. I give no less than 100% in the classroom and on the court. Before I moved to Holly, they have not made it to Districts since 1984, and with the help of Holly's new coaching technique and my previous experience from my old successful team from North Branch, my team has broken a conference record and is moving on to play in the District games. What I hope to obtain from becoming a collegiate athlete is to earn a scholarship, and enjoy the competitive aspect of the sport all the while earning a bachelors in a Business major. I am a very driven, high achieving, team player who aspires to see whatever team I'm on, playing at its' highest level. I would say that what makes me different from other athletes, is even though I may have an off game, I always evaluate my performance and see what I can do to take my game to the next level, not stay in the past. I look forward to succeeding at everything I do, and learning from things I don't, to progress my life.
