In August of 2017, I moved from Ohio to Michigan. This opened up many opportunities in my life, but overall for my future career. I would like to go to college to study animal science and Ag marketing as well as continue my volleyball career. I currently play volleyball and run track. During the time I am not in sports, I am in the gym training. I would be a great asset to a team not only athletically but I carry great leadership skills. I put 110% into everything I do at all times. I have often heard "Any job big or small, do it well, or not at all." I follow this quote on and off the court. Being a part of a team is a huge responsibility. Emphasizing the value of teamwork and encouraging my teammates to work together towards a common goal, maximizes the potential and efforts put forth. I am a coachable player that carries the team with a positive attitude. Attitude is everything! Having these leadership skills, I feel that I would be a great asset to any team. I push myself to not only be better than my competition, but to be better than the player I was the day before.
I was introduced to volleyball at the age of 11. When I was finally was able to play on a team for my school in 7th grade, I knew this is what I wanted to do in the future. Freshman year is when I finally decided I wanted to make volleyball my main sport. The decision between basketball and volleyball was a long and hard thinking process. However my freshman year on the JV volleyball team at Napoleon made my decision final. Being with a new team and new coaches made me realize that I have fallen in love with the game of volleyball. With my determination and commitment, I'm willing to make all necessary sacrifices to go far in my future.
