Personal Statement
Playing volleyball beyond high school has always been one of my biggest goals in life. I have been striving toward it since I was 10 years old. When I was 13, my father suffered a severe aneurysm, and volleyball gave me a place to be a happy kid.
I have put so much hard work and dedication into the sport that I love, and I enjoy seeing it pay off when my skills improve. I am a quick learner on the court and in the classroom. I have been following a college prep curriculum in hopes of becoming an attorney after getting my law degree. I interned for a law firm this summer. I learned a lot about the law, and I am taking college math courses during my senior year.
I think I would be an asset to the right program, and I hope to achieve my goal and be able to set new ones so that I can continue to grow as a player and a person.
