In 7th grade I knew I had an interest for volleyball; however, I did not think I was good at it. When I signed up in 8th grade, I knew this was the sport for me. I loved it with all my heart, and I was so passionate about it. I made the A team in 8th, and went to JV in 9th grade. I played on and off on varsity my sophomore year, and started on varsity my junior year. As years were going on, I kept getting more and more private/group lessons, and even staying later to get the extra help. I am very determined to be a good player for myself, and for my team. I love encouraging others, and I am a super coachable kid. I would be a good candidate for a college team, because I feel I can be a good leader on the team. My goal is to play in college, and become a better player than I am. I am so dedicated to volleyball, it is always on my mind. I study film to help me understand the things I am doing wrong. I loved getting feedback about what I can fix, and also what I am doing right. I feel as though I would be a good teammate and candidate for a college volleyball team.
