Personal Statement
The highlight of my high school career so far has been being named "KNUJ player of the game", at the end of the season for a playoff game my junior year. However, I have gone through many obstacles to get here. I went through two major ankle injuries in one year. This made me push harder to get back as healthy and quickly as possible, so I could return to my full potential. For every game I play, I set a personal goal to get better each game. If I don't meet my goal that game, I work extra hard the next practices to make sure I meet my goals the next time. My love for volleyball continues to grow stronger every year. I started playing in 5th grade and I continue to attend camps every summer and winter to improve. As my high school career is coming to an end, I am looking forward to playing volleyball and bettering myself throughout college. I hope to play volleyball at the collegiate level and take that to the next step in my life.
In addition to my achievements with my skills in volleyball, working hard in school and being active in extra curricular activities keeps me involved with my school in many different ways. One of those is being a member of the Robotics team that went to state finals on May 19th of this year. I am a team player whether in sports or life in general. I am dedicated and determined to be the best version of myself.
