Personal Statement

I am a 6”3 middle hitter from Northfield MN. I have a 4.1 GPA. I have started on the Northfield High School varsity team for 3 years.  I have earned numerous awards including All Conference honorable mention sophomore year, All Conference junior year, most blocks junior year, and I was elected to be team captain for my senior season. In addition to my high school season, I play at Mizuno Northern Lights during the off-season. I am a versatile hitter and enjoy running a variety of quick-paced offensive plays while also providing an intimidating defensive presence.  One of my strengths as a player is being consistent and I frequently have the highest hitting percentage on the team. I don’t have a strong preference on the location of my school but it is a priority that my college is highly academic. I would like to attend a school that not only is going to help me grow academically but also as a person. I am hoping to attend a small to medium sized school where the campus climate is close knit and classes are relatively small. I plan to major in biology or chemistry as I plan to go into the medical field. My goal is to be a solid contributor to my college volleyball program. I consider myself a player who makes a difference. I will be the hardest worker on the team and will always bring a positive attitude on the court.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
