Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Quinlynn Parish. I've loved volleyball ever since I stepped on the court for the first time in fourth grade.  Ever since that day I've been determined to keep getting better and play in college.  That dedication lead to me watching a lot of volleyball and getting a really good grasp on how to, not only, play the game well but win in the process. Another thing that dedication gave me was a good sense of communication and how important it is. I believe that one of the most important things in volleyball, and in life, is communicating. That's why you will constantly hear me shouting on the court and supporting my teammates. Lastly my dedication made me a very versatile person on and off of the court. On the court I'm very flexible about where I play, I will do whatever the team needs to be successful. Off the court I'm versatile by balancing school, work, and volleyball.
