Personal Statement

When my mother encouraged me to try volleyball for the first time in middle school, I instantly knew I wanted to pursue it more in the future. Since then, volleyball has become an important aspect of my life, it helps takes my mind off all of my worries. When I am not on the court, I work hard in school to achieve the best grades I can. I challenge myself in the classroom by taking numerous college-level classes. 

I strive to push myself and my teammates to play the best game we can. I am motivated to win and have fun on the court. Volleyball has taught me so many things over the last few years. I have learned responsibility, leadership, time management, dedication, amongst many other things. I hope to pursue my passion for volleyball at the next level.
