Macey Spolidoro '24 Recruiting Profile

My mid-range life goals are to get into a good college, one that allows me to get a job in a field that I'm passionate about so that I can have a fulfilling life.   I participated in the Notre Dame Ignite program after being admitted for my strong academic performance and individual initiative demonstrated in personal endeavors.  While I'm in college I want to continue playing volleyball.  It's been a part of my life since before I can remember, with two older sisters also playing, and I love the spirit of competition and the process of getting better at every practice.  I am a good team player and will do whatever the team needs to be more successful.  I have played 5 of the 6 positions in elite club volleyball in the span of 7 years of Northern Lights Volleyball Club.  My coaches say that I take feedback and use it to get better.  My teammates say that I have a good attitude and work hard.  I give 100% effort because I want to get better.  Mentally, I'm strong and very determined; I take volleyball seriously, while having fun too!
