Personal Statement
Starting volleyball as a 5th grader, I had no idea that it might help open a door for my college career. Now that the door is opening, I can't wait to see where I potentially end up and all the experiences that will get me there. As an tenth grader, I am recognizing what it takes to become a collegiate athlete and am enjoying all of the opportunities that this sport has given me in hopes of becoming that athlete. Going to Jackson Prep, a college preparatory school, is not only pushing me athletically but academically as well. I feel like my high school is preparing me well in being a collegiate level student-athlete. Being a volleyball player has taught me many things, such as perseverance and being a leader at a young age. Getting to play varsity has really taught me when it's necessary to step up and be a leader. My current position is RS, however, I often practice playing other positions such as OH so I can be open to play wherever needed. Thank you for viewing my profile.
