Personal Statement

My goal is one day to be a pro, or to be a successful dentist. When I was in the 7th grade it was the first year I played volleyball. As each year passes by the more I enjoy playing volleyball. Doing my best and striving for what I want to be is a good part of me. Going to a University would help my social skills and prepare to what is going to happen after college. I can't wait to be in college to make new friends and to progress in my learning skills. Going to college is going to be and experience that will help my goals grow higher and higher and to face any obstacle that will be in my path to success for the future. Volleyball is also a great experience for team work and communicating to others.

What make you a good candidate for their team?

What makes me a good candidate for the team is that for me to be a good team player to the other players as well as progressing and improving my skills to be a better player than I already am. I like to be a leader to help others strive for their goals. I would enjoy learning and advancing to new tactics. I adapt very easily in any situation and if others are not I will be able to help them and to guide them in the right direction.

What makes me different in character, athletics, and academics? 

I enjoy helping other succeed even if I'm not doing well. I want others to have chances to be who they want to be and to that I would help them. I don't think of myself as a better player than anyone on the team and I don't boss anyone around and rudely telling them how to fix their problems. For me, being part of a volleyball team is like having another family. The feeling of love in the team is the greatest feeling of all. I've gone through so much through the years and yet when I'm with my friends I forget all my problems and I play with one reason and that reason is to have fun and to learn how to lean on others when they are by your side. It is an amazing experience.
