Emmarose Neibert ‘16 Recruiting Profile

Personal Statement

   My name is Emmarose Neibert. I have recently started my senior year at Fox High School in Arnold, Missouri. I've graduated my junior year with a 4.428 GPA and I'm waiting to receive my final report card with an updated GPA. I play volleyball and run track at the varsity level. Additionally, I've been honored to be named as the "Most Valuable Player" of my volleyball team this past season and to have been able to run at my sectional track meet in the open 400 meter dash, placing seventh.

   I aspire to play volleyball in college and pursue an education in business/marketing or entrepreneurship. What makes me different from other recruits is my dedication, my ability to be coachable, and my hard work ethic.  I take pride in knowing that I've done my best to reach my goals. I do everything with 100% effort and don't stop until I get it right.

   This year I tried out for USA volleyball training teams in Chicago and Saint Louis. I have been given the opportunity to work out this summer with the A2 training team! I will be doing so in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

   I'm also a leader. I like to set a good example for others on my team. I thrive on being the hardest worker and adore the achievement that comes with hard work. I've been a captain or co captain for the past two select seasons and captain on my sophomore year's and junior year's school volleyball team.

   I've participated in my school's weightlifting program since I was in 8th grade. We also incorporate speed & agility and conditioning into our workouts weekly. These programs have improved my athletic ability and will continue to do so as I undergo the rest of my high school athletic career. I will be athletically ready to participate in collegiate level sports.

   Volleyball is my passion. I live my life with a ball in my hand and cannot fathom a life for myself without volleyball incorporated in it. I dream to play in college at a division I or division II level as a setter or defensive player. I look forward to being in contact with you!
