Bailey Below '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Bailey Below. I am 5'10", 150 lbs and my primary position is an outside hitter. I started playing volleyball in 4th grade and also started playing club volleyball in 8th grade. I have started on the varsity volleyball team all three years of my high school career at Bloomfield. Of these three years, we have won three district championships and two sectional titles but unfortunately fell short of making it to the state tournament. Since I started playing volleyball, I have learned how to carry myself in a respectful way, as it reflects the way my school and my team look. It is much easier to play the sport when you have a positive attitude and just look forward to the next point. My academic goals for high school are to finish in the top ten of my class as a senior and to have at least a 3.7 GPA.  My academic goals for college are to further my knowledge in physical therapy so that I can become a physical therapist after I graduate. Volleyball is practically a year round sport for me and I feel that my dedication to the sport will help me excel in the college atmosphere. My goals are to play volleyball at the collegiate level while getting a good education to get me ready for the next steps in life.
