Kourtney Knox-Set...Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Kourtney Knox, and I am from Farmington, MO. I am currently a Junior and a second year starting setter for the Farmington High School Varsity team. I currently play for H2 St. Louis Volleyball Club/ 17 Cardinal Team. I am a setter and Co-Captain for my club team. In 2012, I was named to 1st Team ALL DISTRICT, 2nd Team ALL REGION and ACADEMIC ALLSTATE VOLLEYBALL TEAM. In 2013, I have been named to 1st Team ALL CONFERENCE, 1st Team ALL DISTRICT, 1st Team ALL REGION, and ACADEMIC ALLSTATE VOLLEYBALL TEAM. I currently have a 3.75 cumulative GPA and rank in the top 10% of my Junior class. In November 2013 I was inducted into the National Honor Society.
My interests in school are in math and science and I hope to pursue a college degree in Pre-Physical Therapy, exercise science, or athletic training. In college, I am looking to play for a volleyball program where I can continue to develop my skills, as well as make an immediate impact. Outside of school and volleyball I am involved in GOSC (Girls Only Science Club), FCA, Crossfit, and my church youth group, Velocity.
