Personal Statement
I have set many goals and had many dreams come true these past four years of varsity ball. Most recently we just finished regular season play at 23-3-2 and will begin district play soon. My hopes are to get back to the state tournament the end of October. I finished my junior year on a trip to the Missouri State Final Four, finishing second in Class 1. As a sophomore, I wanted to make the All State Team and I set out to accomplish just that, being named to the All State Class 1 First Team and was lucky enough to make the team again as a junior. I was also recently awarded Southeast Missouri Player of the Year spring 2014 and semoball.com Volleyball Athlete of the Year in summer 2014.
I love this sport and live this sport. I take my court time very serious but take my class room time just as serious. I am an honor roll student and understand the demands of doing well on and off the court. I have been able to play multiple sports and participate in multiple extra curricular activities while maintaining a high GPA. I would love to play college volleyball. This has been a longtime dream of mine to continue to play the sport I love after high school and to continue to do so at a college level.
This past seasons goal was to get to the STATE tournament and I made so many wonderful memories with my teammates, it was a highlight to my high school career. I'd love to do similiar at a college level as well and be part of that team that wins their conference titles and advances to post season play. I've been lucky enough to attend two NCAA final four tournaments, one in Kansas City MO and the other in Louisville KY, what a great experience as a fan but I can only imagine how those girls feel to be on that court, I'm excited to get that oppertunity. This final season's goals are to go back to state and bring home that title and to sign a letter of intent to play college ball.
