Phoenix Simpson '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi,

I am Phoenix Simpson, a junior from Trinity Catholic High School in St. Louis, MO. I started volleyball in the 8th grade and been improving my game since then. I was on varsity in 8th grade, however the school was small. When I got to high school, I tried out and made the JV team, out of about 40 girls that tried out. I was on JV my sophomor, but also became captain, which I was voted by the team.  This past season,  my junior year, I played on varsity and started some games. I was able to play in multiple positions, and gain experience  in  defensI’ve specialist as well as pin hitter.  

Since playing volleyball, I have  always want to improve my game in order to help a team win. I am verstile in positions on the court, although I have never played setter in a game, I am willing to learn.

I am a well rounded student that takes multiple college classes and balance a job and club volleyball as well as a high school varsity soccer player. Learning to balance all these things will prepare me to be a commited student athlete in college.Thank you for reading.
