Personal Statement
Hello ! My names Charlee. I’m a junior in high school and have played the game of volleyball for 6 years now. I play 5-6 months out of the year, and participate in club and high school volleyball. Being from Montana, I have strong love for the outdoors and a passion for being active. As an athlete, I’ve tried several other sports in hopes of liking them but have yet to find something quite like volleyball. If you asked me to list all the reasons why I’m so drawn to the sport, I’m almost positive I would go on for hours. I’ve grown up in the sport, and I couldn’t be more thankful for what it’s blessed me with. I believe I have a lot to offer as a teammate and athlete. I’m always pushing to be the best athlete I can be, and I’m always the first person jumping out from the bench to cheer on any fellow teammate. I’m extremely social, and love building personable relationships with everyone around me. I like to bring a positive but focused energy onto the court with me at all times. I’m hardworking and dedicate a lot of time in the gym working on my strength and athleticism, while keeping up with academics and a part-time job at a restaurant. My goal is to pursue a career in forensic science and one day continue playing the sport I love throughout my college career. I prefer keep my options open, and at the end of the day I simply want to be a part of a program that loves the game as much as I do. If you have any questions or would like to talk please reach out!
