I first stepped on to a court to play volleyball competitively when I was in the fifth grade. Ever since those early years, my desire to play at a collegiate level has grown ever-increasingly important to me. I absolutely love the sport and never want to have to stop competing in it for as long as I can help it. One of my major goals after graduating is to attend a college not too far from home that has a good business program and is willing to offer me a volleyball scholarship.
I believe that one of my most important attributes that qualify me for your team is the amount of hard work I am willing to put forth. I don't believe in quitting. I believe in commitment and giving 100% every day. I go to a very small school in which the amount of talent and numbers needed for a successful volleyball team is hard to find. Nonetheless, I love working to boost my team's confidence and support everybody in all their successes and all their failures. I have also been putting forth as much time and effort as possible for the last six months to fully recover from the tearing of my ACL, MCL, and Meniscus in my left knee that occurred in a basketball game my junior year.
I am also a very competitive person in both athletics and academics. I have maintained the top ranking in my class for the past four years, have lettered in volleyball every year since the eighth grade, and have received awards for "most inspirational" and "most valuable player". I feel that I could add to your program in a very positive way.
In conclusion, I am very passionate about the sport of volleyball. I am 5'8" middle hitter with a 25-inch vertical who also loves setting and digging. I am a hard worker and a team player. I would love to be considered as a recruit for your team. Thank You.
