My name is Casey Elfland. I am a 5’4” setter/DS that loves volleyball and wants to play at the next level. I have grown up on a ranch in Montana where I have learned about hard work and perseverance. Every time I step on the court I try my hardest to win and get better. If I become a collegiate athlete, my goals will be to enhance my skill level, and help my team.
As a setter I lead my team with high energy, maximum effort, and a positive attitude. My goal is to make all of my teammates better so we can reach our highest potential. I have always been taught to “better the ball,” and have been recognized by multiple coaches for my work ethic and coachability.
Even though setter and DS are my primary positions, my athleticism has allowed me to play every position on the volleyball court. I have a passion for the game, love to compete, and want do whatever it takes to help my team.
I have always been taught that grades are the most important and have maintained a 4.0 grade point average throughout high school while taking the most challenging courses my school offers. In addition to volleyball, I participate in other sports and extracurricular activities such as softball, basketball, 4-H, and National Honors Society.
