I am a perfect candidate to play collegiate volleyball because I set myself apart from other recruits in several aspects. I make it very apparent that my team comes first before myself, therefore I always move past my own mistakes and encourage my teammates to do the same, in a positive manner. I believe that attitude is everything, and if the team as a whole doesn't carry a positive, winning attitude at all times than there is no hope to win any games.
I aspire to be the best at everything I do and never settle for anything less than my best. I can always be held reliable to give 100% in everything that I part-take in. Academics come before athletics and I take that statement very seriously. Education is necessary to help you form a career and to go far in life, so just like everything else, I always try my best and dedicate a great amount of time towards my studies.
Finally, I believe that I excel in the game of volleyball. As a defensive specialist, it is my job to get a touch on everything that I can. I throw myself on the floor and sacrifice my body in order to get the ball up. I think my greatest strengths are reading the hitter and therefore being in the correct location to dig the ball, and also serving zones, aggressively.
