Being apart of the volleyball team gave me another family. The reason it influences who I am is that I am more caring about my friends and family than before. When I was younger my parents used to play on a coed volleyball team and that is when my love for the sport started. What I have learned about myself is that what I thought was my physical limit was was much lower than what is actually is. My academic goal for high school is to get the best grades that I can, and my college academic goal is to also pass all of my classes with the best grades I can possible achieve. An obstacle that I have overcome to get where I am now is my height; the way I have overcome this obstacle is going to the weight room and work on my vertical. For my unique characteristics are I can play the flute and crochet.
