  • ActivitiesGIRL SCOUT: 2006-current, Earned 3 GS religious awards & currently completing the 4th (final) award will achieve "Pillars of Faith" award for completing all 4 levels (only achieved by approximately 2% of all Catholic Girl Scouts), GS High Honors community service awards: 2012 Bronze Award (6 months 46 hours) & 2016 Silver Award (11 months 77 hrs). Currently developing my last High Honor Gold Award projected completion 2018, To date have completed requirements/developed skills to earn 90+ Girl Scout Badges, Completely self-funded travel destinations with Girl Scouts by establishing a recycling network (family & friends & businesses 2011-current) and Girl Scout product sales (nuts/cookies) earning $1500-2000 annually. Funded trips to: Catalina Island 2012 - 7 day Marine Science camp; Costa Rica/Panama 2014 - 2 weeks working with researchers on sea turtle preservation/cataloging nest/releasing hatchlings to the ocean & scuba certification & service project-cleaned water delivery channels for local village & white water rafting & zip-line; Corpus Christi TX 2015 - 10 days at Marine science center & TX State Aquarium & service project-built/installed monofilament recycle containers at local fishing piers & snorkeling & surfing & kayaking & sailing, Developed and presented 3 workshops for my Girl Scout Council-informing GS leaders parents and other Girl Scouts about planning & budgeting & applying for and funding national/international GS travel opportunities, COMMUNITY SERVICE: Actively involved in my community through my work in Girl Scouts: environmental cleanup & graffiti removal and school supply & food & toy & clothing drives, 2007 Helped organize & facilitate "Call Home for Christmas" between my GS Troop and a Cub Scout Troop. Collected Christmas cards & over 800 international phone cards to send to a military troop in Iraq, 2012 GS High Honor Bronze Award for my community service project (6 months & 46 hours) working with Soles 4 Souls. Raised awareness about the environmental importance of shoe recycling & poverty and disaster relief through public speaking at my local school and church and a guest appearance on Fox5 News. Organized several shoe drives collecting of over 1300 pairs of shoes that were donated to Soles 4 Souls, 2016 GS High Honor Silver Award for my community service project (11 months & 77 hours) working with the Little Miss Hannah Foundation (LMHF). Raised awareness about rare life-limiting genetic diseases affecting children. Through a guest appearance on Fox5 News & public speaking at my church & school & a UNLV sorority & local business owners & a social media campaign I collected personal hygiene items to fill 100 LMHF Pediatric Intensive Care Unit care bags for area hospitals. I also obtained $2300 in sponsorships from local business owners to provide a disabled 14 yr. old Las Vegas boy with a LMHF medical grant - a specialized therapy bike his medical insurance would not cover. With the sponsor money I was also able to provide his 3 siblings with all their school supplies & some new sports equipment & family games, Currently planning my 3rd & final GS High Honor community service award - the Gold Award. My project will be working with Guide Dogs for the Blind. This will include the full care & socialization & behavioral training & financial responsibility for the puppy for 18-24 months. I sold over 1200 boxes of GS cookies this season to meet the financial requirements of this project, In addition to my GS community service this past year I have also volunteered more than 30 hours at Get Outdoors Nevada & Spring Mountain State Park (trail cleanup/tree planting) & Three Square (working at a local church's food pantry) & Miracle League (helping disabled kids play baseball) & Active in my church Teen Life Youth group (preparing lunches for the homeless & delivering meals to home bound during the holidays) & volunteered as an assistant coach for my school's 2015/2016 middle school volleyball team, COMPETITIVE GYMNAST: 2003-2013 discontinued to focus on and develop volleyball skills at a competitive level. Playing volleyball since 2009 (grade school & youth league). Started competitive club volleyball 2013, OWN & SHOW A HORSE: 2008-current, SHOW 4H: summers (2008-current) Adams County Fair NE: show static events (animal science & cooking & sewing) and show sheep & goats & rabbits with multiple Grand/Reserve Championships and Best in Breed,
