I first started to play volleyball with my dad. He would play recreational volleyball and one day he asked me if I wanted to go with him. I immediately fell in love with the sport and knew that this was something that I wanted to become great at. The summer before freshman year I took a 2 week volleyball camp and became even more obsessed with the sport. When I was made captain of my freshman team I realized that I can do anything I set my mind to and how important communication, teamwork, leadership, and commitment are. To me academics are just as important as athletics. I am looking for a college that will fit me both academically and athletically.
